Sleeping!

Joy of all joys- Declan slept from 9pm last night to 5am this morning. Our big adventure yesterday must have totally exhausted him. I hope this is the beginning of a sleep schedule!

Big Adventure

Declan and Mommy hit the big apple today for a dr's appointment and then a visit to Mama's work. Declan was a perfect angel through the appointment, but apparently, forgot our agreement to never, ever, scream in public. His first tantrum in the dr's office waiting room! He frantically drank his bottle (talking while eating) and then promptly threw up over his carefully orchestrated outfit.

Better Late Than Never!

Finally, daddy gets around to starting a blog for Declan. Don't worry: all you missed was some posts about morning sickness, some baby kicking, and maybe a hospital story or two. I mean, he didn't really do a whole lot for those first few weeks anyway, right? So on to the good stuff...

Declan is starting to smile and talk a lot. Unless he's hungry. Then it starts with the screaming. But when he's NOT hungry (or sleeping), he's very vocal and aware.
